CONSTRUCTION AND CONVENIENT MAINTENANCE
The main part of air-cooled
diesel generating set - the air-cooled diesel engine, in which air directly force
cooling, is equipped with separate cylinder head without water pump, water tank
and wet cylinder liner. Air-cooled diesel engine owns the advantages
of simple and compact construction, and light weight, and it has no troubles
caused by water leakage, crack by the coldness, scale forming which leading to
engine overheat. The troubles reduce about 20% compared with water-cooled
generating set. Maintenance work for diesel engine is greatly
simplified.
WIDE
ENVIRONMENTAL ADAPTABILITY AND USE
Air-cooled diesel engine can keep
stable working state under the different environmental influence and runs well
at -40 to 50 degree centigrade, especially in cold, hot desert, forest, plateau
and dry district. 120kg air-cooled diesel generating set used in Xinjiang
Taklamakan Desert has run over 20000h, 90kw air-cooled generating set used in
China South-pole Great Wall station still goes well. Domestic civil aviation
began to sue intermediate frequency air-cooled diesel automobile electric
station as plane ground powder.
LOW VIBRATION
AND NOISE, USE ECONOMICALLY
Air-cooled diesel engine adopts the
more advanced silencing and balance technology. Noise and vibration all are
lower than water-cooled diesel engine's. Noise of air-cooled diesel engine is
94.7B(A (measuring at 1 m from engine). Single amplitude value measuring at the
suspended air filter is smaller than 0.285mm. The fuel consumption is 235g/kwh
(for water-cooled diesel engine, about 280g/kwh), oil-consumption is 2.3g/kwh.
Fuel consumption of air-cooled diesel engine is 84% that of water-cooled diesel
engines. Oil consumption of air-cooled diesel engine is 70% that of water-cooled
diesel engines.
LOW POLLUTION
AND HARMFUL EMISSION
The exhaust garget of air-cooled
diesel engine is obviously better than the water-cooled diesel engine's. The
harmful emission from DEUTZ air-cooled diesel engine of series 413F meets the
technical requirements of ECER49. The harmful emission from DEUTZ air-cooled
diesel engine of series 513 meets the new standard Europe 1 of ECE. (The all
kinds of targets of this standard are lower 55%-70% than the original
standards).

The separate cylinder and cylinder
head improve interchangeability and maintenance convenience and lower
maintenance convenience and lower maintenance cost.
WITH
AUTOMATIC SAFEGUARD FOR SAFETY RUNS
With automatic warning and safeguard
shut-down devices of oil pressure, oil temperature, cylinder head temperature,
(ordinary water-cooled diesel generating set has no this function), and override
automatic safeguard device as well.
